Implementation of Peoplesoft Software for Payroll
Effective with the July 15, 2009 payroll, the Payroll
Dept. began production of paychecks utilizing the new Peoplesoft
software package. This implementation has resulted in many changes
which include, but are not limited to:

More detailed pay stub

Self-service access to add absence requests and view
balance records through the "Employee Self-Service" menu

Salary Supplements for Coaching are now paid out
over the season of the sport instead of throughout the school year

Rules for the calculation of payment of overtime now
automatically apply the contract language for absences taken during
the same week that extra/overtime is worked

Direct Deposit is now available to all employees,
including non-instructional substitutes
-
The Federal Withholding status elected is applied to
all jobs, including additional withholding. No longer
can choose an additional amount to be withheld on one job - will be
taken on all jobs.
The Payroll Dept is in the
process of identification of issues which impact the expected payroll
results. Thank you for your continued
